Back in the village, we did not have a mall as there were some small shops around us, and most of these shops were operated by small vendors. But here in Kota, you can chill out with the love of your teen years at the City Mall Kota. For movie lovers Kota fun cinema city mall is the only destination to chill. City Mall Kota is also good for birthday parties and other get together.
I love going there as we can hang out on the bench which is on the top floor of the mall and we would just sit there for a whole day sometimes. Talking and discussing our life. If you ask me, City Mall is one of the best things in Kota. I don’t know how the resonance students are so dedicated to their studies when they have such a fantastic place right beside their study center.
He and I both go there just after our class ends. As we enter the mall, we first eat the panipuri, which is at the bottom of the mall, and then we go to the shops as per our mood. As there are too many shops, we sometimes like to roam in the Big Bazaar or just sit in the McDonald’s peacefully.
We also watch movies sometimes as it depends on the film that is currently being screened. Well, like other couples, we also like to get the corner seats giving us utmost privacy. By now, you must have guessed that there is a lot to do there.
Although it feels awkward, sometimes when we both are sitting on the bench on the top floor of the mall as people pass by and stare at us. Once, an uncle passed a comment that I didn’t like. He said, “Wasting parent’s money.” But I ignored, and so did he.
It is not that I only go there with him but with my other friends as well. My friends and I sometimes go there just to buy the snacks from the big bazaar for the whole month. But as you know, they never last a month, so we go there 3-4 times per month for just the snack buying purpose. We also like to shop for dresses from different brands here. The Reliance Outlet here is really good, and how can we forget the cloth mall just above Big Bazaar. They got a good amount of brands there, and sometimes the price seems to be hefty, but they are worth it.
There is another mall a few meters away from City Mall, but there is nothing special there besides having PVR and Pizza Hut. They also have a cloth mall there, but I don’t know if it is of a particular brand.
The City Mall simply beats that mall as there is a Domino’s Pizza in the City Mall as you enter it. So it is the first thing that comes into anyone’s mind when entering it. This is the sole reason it is impossible to get your order in under 15 minutes in Domino’s pizza during evening and night time. It is simply too much crowded there as most of the people just stand for their orders. Well, this doesn’t bother me when I am with him as we get to spend more time with each other.
Back in my village, I never thought that I would be able to enjoy so many things under one roof. We did have some pizza shops and some fast-food restaurants, but you know that no pizza in the world can match Domino’s pizza. This is the reason I adore this place so much. I forgot to mention the food stall on this mall’s top floor that serves amazing burgers, vadapav, sweet corn, dim-sums, and many other things.
The afternoon in this mall passes with the people’s chatter, but there is a change in the environment there during the night-time. You would find people singing really good songs, and you would see how much talent resides in this place of fortune. You will realize that these students who surround themselves with books all the time have some hidden talents that are suppressed by hefty books.
Things at night time happen inside as well as outside. Outside you will find singers and inside you will find performers. There are a lot of events happening inside. A few days back, some middle-aged married couples were dancing on stage for an event. There was also a vehicle presentation for the people, and I guess the car was from MG.
As all this happens simultaneously, there is still a lot of development going on in other mall areas. You could see the improvements that have been made in many shops, and you could also see the new shops being assigned here.
The mall doesn’t end here as there is also a special bazaar for the tech-savvy people on the 2nd floor where you can find all the cool gadgets. My boyfriend likes visiting this place often, and we like to roam and see new gadgets here. As we get tired, we just like to hold hands and sit on the corner bench just outside this Gadget Bazaar.
No mall in the Kota matches the number of people that visit this mall daily. You won’t see any shop empty at any time in this mall. Even the Fastrack’s watch repair shop is hosting customers most of the time. If you like clicking photos, then you wouldn’t believe the iconic spots in this mall where you can click pictures. There is also the McDonald’s iconic statue here sitting on the bench where you can click some cool photos.
The mall looks really beautiful at night when it is all lightened up. I love the dresses that vendors sell here, and I would like to buy all of them if I would have an ample amount of money, which I don’t have. With this, when you are about to leave this happening place, you would see the Baskin Robins just at the exit. The scoop from the famous ice cream vendor to mark your day’s end would be perfect.
